Outsiders B&B and The Herald competition Terms and conditions of entry:
By entering the “Outsiders B&B” competition, you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry.
2. WHO CAN ENTER
2.1 Subject to clause 2.2 & 2.3, entry is open to all residents of South Africa where the Herald is distributed.
2.2 Employees and their immediate families of The Herald and their associated agencies and companies are not eligible to enter.
2.3 Residents of Nieu Bethesda will not be considered for the prize.
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 The competition commences on Friday, 10th June 2011 and concludes on Friday, 30th August 2011.
3.2 In order to enter, readers must logon to / during the competition period. Readers email their entry including name, email address, street address (including postcode) and daytime telephone numbers with the answer to the question to nieubethesda.competition@webmail.co.za before Friday 30th August at 12 noon.
3.3 Each reader may enter the competition only once per unique email.
3.4 Entrants must be at least 20 at the time of entry.
4. PRIZE
4.1 There will be one winner. The winner will receive one prize package which will be valid for 1 year until 30th September 2012 subject to availability.
4.2 The prize consists of:
* 2 nights’ accommodation for 1 couple at the Outsiders B&B
* 1 breakfast for 2 at The Village Inn
* 1 lunch for 2 at The Brewery and Two Goats Deli
* Entry for 2 at The Owlhouse Museum
* A fossil tour for 2 from The Kitching Fossil Center
* A Bushman painting excursion for 2 from Ganora guest farm
* 20% discount on all items purchased at Dustcovers
* 20% discount on all items purchased at KB Fine Arts
* 20% discount on all items purchased at Frans Boekkooi’s Sculpting Studio
4.3 In participating in the competition, the winner agrees to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition. The winners agree to grant Outsiders B&B a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winners will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
4.5 Prizes cannot be transferred or redeemed for cash.
5. WINNER
5.1 There will be one winner chosen from total pool of entries received. Each entrant who has entered the competition over the duration of the competition and registered all details required (“Qualifying Entrant”) will be eligible. The first correct entrant drawn will be the winner
5.2 Winners will be published in The Herald and notified by email within fourteen days of the draw on 30 September 2011.
5.3 The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into regarding the result.
